On August 8th,2019 Myles lost his fight with dementia at the age of 83. I promised him I would spend the rest of my life keeping his Legacy alive! If any of you have read his book, The Chronicles of Myles Marsden On Stage and Off you will understand why this was so important to him. One year later after struggling with his loss, I'm ready now to do just that. Please understand this does not mean I'm done mourning him, I will never be, he was my person for 44 years and I miss him every moment of every day. "The heart may heal but the scar never goes away." After 12 months I have finally found that comfortable place where I'm able to talk about him and his life, our life, with the outside world without falling to pieces. It was time for me to come back to the living, that's what Myles would have wanted me to do.
So here we go......I look forward to keeping in contact with so many people who have been following his journey these past years. Most of his followers; peers, students, friends are from his dance world, unfortunately, we met when the struggling times brought us together. You were loyal followers and supporters of my Myles, and me because of him, and you gave me the strength to work through his illness and then his loss. Your encouraging words were more than appreciated, I thank you for that.
I look forward to comments and questions on the websites' CHAT/BLOG page. Maybe you have pictures or memories to share with me, I would love that. ❤️Linda Williams Marsden

An extremely likable character, very handsome, charming, strong, talented, charismatic, sensitive, naive, funny, unafraid of anything. Oh yes, he was surely egotistical very confident and sure of himself touching on narcissistic, which is pretty much the definition of most artistic people. Myles was my person and through the good, bad, and even some ugly years, I would choose him again...
On stage, he was a romantic, off stage in love with love. I use to say, if he couldn't be near the one he loved, he loved the one he was near, and that my friends at times was very true. Although his gigantic ego would lead him off track from time to time, for the four-plus decades we were together I always knew his heart belonged to me...
He was loved by women of all ages including some men, and they all fed his ego. Now add that with an on-again, off-again dangerous rendezvous with alcohol, sadly that's all it took! It was his weakness and his curse in relationships and at times in his work. The only person he was truly faithful to especially in those early years was himself...
Artistic Director of a unique company that became a household word. He and his mom had this dream in the early '50s and they brought it to life. State Ballet of Rhode Island made it's debuted in 1960...
Respected teacher, choreographer, and director. He was loved by his students, admired by his peers...
Flirtatious bantering was part of his classroom technique he charmed his students with and they all adored him...
He had a boyish sense of humor with almost a teasing nature even in the classroom. One characteristic that I loved most about him...
Amazingly talented, that was his one constant without fail. He was born to entertain and he was a Master of the game...
